Recent observations from the Keck II telescope in Hawaii, released this week, reveal the object is producing nickel tetracarbonyl, a refined alloy used in aerospace manufacturing to harden metal surfaces.

This past week the United Nations’ International Maritime Organization (IMO) held a vote to enact a global maritime carbon tax on all shipping vessels in the world. It would have been the first UN tax on member nations since the global body gave itself the power to tax the world in 2024.
The IMO’s carbon tax would force each and every sea-going vessel to buy carbon credits from the IMO based on size and carbon output over the UN’s yearly target levels (net zero by 2050 being the target goal)
The U.S. Department of State estimated that the global tax would raise prices on all Americans by 10%.

What do you call seven million old white people gathering all over the country? Not a Barry Manilow reunion tour.
It was, of course, the ‘No Kings’ Rallies which occurred over the course of Saturday (mostly morning) with allegedly nearly 7 million protesters, most of them AARP members, gathering around the nation to protest Kings.
You may have noticed we don’t have kings here in the United States. We have a Constitutional Republic. Of course, if we DID have a King, no one would be allowed to protest so there’s that.
I used to think the majority of boomers were at least a little bit smart politically. Perhaps not so much . . .
